More about Melon

Melon arrived at Battersea Old Windsor as a stray so we have no history on her or how she is in a home. She can be a worried and nervous girl. Melon is a sensitive soul and is very worried of new people and new experiences, however she is slowly coming out of her shell and showing her loving and affectionate nature.

Once bonded she is a wiggly and excitable dog who loves nothing more than to snuggle with her known people. She is a gentle giant that will avoid stepping on her people, even when excited, every movement is considered and gentle.

Due to Melon's worried and sensitive nature she will need to be rehomed to a quieter location in a patient adult only household with new owners who can give her all the time she needs to settle into a home and continue with her training.

Melon is an absolute gem with other dogs, being a playful and tolerant girl who loves to interact. As she loves being in the company of other dogs she would highly benefit from living with another dog in order to bring her out of her shell and help her bond with new owners. The other dog in the home should be confident and tolerant of her bully style of play.

Melon will definitely win the hearts of her new owners.
