More about MILO

Milo is a very timid dog that will be a rewarding project for his new family. Milo is based at our Windsor Centre, if you are interested in him, please email

Milo has a very nervous nature, being easily overwhelmed and will retreat to his bed if unsure. He has taken his time to make friends with staff and has shown his affectionate, curious side with time. New owners will need have to realistic expectations of Milo as he will take a long time before wanting to explore the outside world.

He is looking for a very quiet household with adults only, with his own private garden. Going on walks will be a slow process, a private a garden will allow him to have an outside area to explore and gain in confidence.

Milo has shown to enjoy his treats especially higher value such as chicken. This has been great aid to help him make friends and show that great things happen around new people.

Milo is looking for a home where he will have more than one carer, as he will be more of a project in a home. Having more than one person in the home to bond and help with his daily care would be very beneficial for Milo.

Milo has a sweet personality that will shine through, we have seen him be affectionate even sitting on laps with staff that have spent a great deal of time with him. We know that he can make those bonds and show his character, but new owners need to be prepared that this going to take some time, but he is worth the time and patience.

If you feel are interested in him, please email or call 01784 494 443.
