Meet our young, bouncy boy Milo!

Milo is a Presa Canario (Spanish Mastiff) puppy and although smaller right now, he is likely grow up into a very large boy.

Milo does have a slightly worried side to him and has been building up his gradual exposure to the world, so will need new owners that can help continue his socialisation and positive experiences to set him up for success at his own pace. He will need new owners that have experience of owning large guarding breeds to help him with puppy training and to guide him into learning life skills as he matures. We encourage potential owners to do extensive research on the Presa Canario breed before enquiring to rehome him.

Milo's confidence grows when he is around calm, role-model dogs, and he would benefit from having adult role models to go on walks with but currently we feel he would do better in a home without other dogs, due to his dislike of sharing resources.

During his stay Milo has shown to be excited by fuss and attention, so will need to have continued training to help him settle himself and build his manners, working on calm interactions to prepare him for when he gets bigger. Milo has also shown some mouthy behaviours on site which are common for his age and breed, so new owners should be prepared to continue to work on these behaviours and teach Milo key manners and skills as he matures.
