More about MISSY
Meet our lovely girl Missy!
Missy came to us through no fault of her own, as she was given into a veterinary practice by her previous owners. From the limited history we have on her, she was described as a friendly and easy going lady, with some typical vocal Husky traits.
Similar to her history, Missy has been a sweet and loving lady with us, however she has struggled at times to settle into our kennel environment.
Typical of her breed traits, she has been a vocal dog onsite around people and dogs, at times barking for attention and being a chatty lady in general.
Due to her older nature, she has been independent around other dogs and do her own thing, having a slight level of intolerance where she has told off dogs who have attempted to play with her. Because of this, she would be best suited to being the only dog in her new home with her socialisation taking place outside.
Missy is looking for her perfect retirement home with new owners who can provide the love and attention this sweet lady deserves. While experience with vocal or Husky-type breeds would be helpful in understanding and managing her chatty expressive nature, it isn’t essential - as long as her new family is committed to researching the breed and meeting her needs. Missy’s sociable, affectionate personality and distinctive “talking” will bring joy and character to any home lucky enough to welcome her
