More about Misty
Meet lovely Misty!
Misty is a sweet sensitive lady looking for a quiet home to settle down in. Her ideal home is in an out of city location, away from the hustle and bustle.
Misty has been very worried of life in kennels and has taken time to settle in and make friends with everyone. However, once you've befriended her, she will show you her affectionate side. She is a proper cuddle bug and will seek out her people for reassurance and fuss when she's worried.
She has lived with children before and done well with them, however, due to her worried nature, Misty is currently only looking to live with older children or teens (8+).
She has shown to grow in confidence around other dogs and has even offered some play behaviours. Although she is very quick to spook and isn't ready for proper rough and tumble play just yet. She could live with a steady dog companion.
Although she is worried, she has been very tolerant of handling.
Misty is looking for a new family to help show her the ropes and prove the world is not such a scary place. New owners will need to be prepared to go slow with Misty and take the time to expose her to everything she is scared of at her own pace.
If you show her love, Misty will be a friend for life and the perfect sofa companion. When Misty feels comfortable, she loves a ball and tug games.
