Meet our little Mitsu!

This charming lad came to Battersea via another rescue. He had previously lived with his siblings in a home with many chihuahuas and had not really left the home, so has lived a very sheltered life prior to coming here.

He is slowly growing in confidence and we have seen glimpses of his fun personality, playing with toys and other dogs whilst in our office spaces. He has been worried by others dogs at times, but is gradually coming more out of his shell day by day, with the help of staff and some time spent in a foster home.

Mitsu is a chihuahua cross German Spitz mix. New owners would ideally undertake some breed research prior to meeting, to gain an idea of breed traits and likely behaviours.

Due to his unusual start in life, he seems to not have gained many life skills yet and will need all his training from scratch, including house training, which has been going well on foster. To set him up for success, he would be best suited to a relatively quiet household, with his own private garden, and have some quieter walking routes - away from the hustle and bustle of a city/ busy road - with owners willing to continue with his training.
