Meet Monty our precious Jackahuahua pup!

Monty was gifted to Battersea along with his litter mate due to a change in his owners circumstances and came with a lovely history for his first 4 months of life. Monty previously lived with his sister and parents and was described as being a typical puppy who loved to play with the other dogs and was affectionate, loving cuddles with his humans.

Due to being so young and not fully vaccinated, Monty hasn't met many dogs outside of his family and will need gentle exposure to the big wide world once able to start going out for walks. He was said to be very playful and confident with the other dogs in the home but onsite was a little worried.

Monty is the sweetest little pup who loves a comfy lap and snuggles, resting his chin on his handlers and gazing at them with all the love he has to offer. Monty is looking for a new home in any location as long as there are quiet walking routes to help him gain confidence once going out. He doesn't mind if there's no garden as long as new owners can take him out regularly to meet his exercise and stimulation needs. Monty could potentially live with another dog, cat or other small animal and is happy to go to any family environment, be it a single carer, couple or family with older children.
