Meet our sweet girl Nala!

Nala arrived at Battersea as a gift. She has a lovely history in her previous home, but they did note a sensitive side to her, particularly when being left on her own and around loud noises. We have seen the same lovely, full-of-beans lady since being with us here at Battersea and have seen also the extent of her separation anxiety. Nala has really struggled being left on her own, and this will need to be an area of training that new owners are confident to deal with with as she gets older.

Nala has been friendly with everyone she has met, and although a little worried at times, she makes friends easily and loves nothing more than some fuss and attention.
Nala likes other dogs and has shown she has a playful side. She could possibly live with another dog that is the right match - a tolerant and confident dog who will be a good role model for her. Nala is looking for a new home in any location with access to her own private garden, she can live with children aged 8+ and may be able to live with a dog savvy cat!

Half of Nala's mix is Dutch Shepherd which is a highly intelligent breed and the other half is American bull breed. which comes with its own individual breed traits, we therefore advise that any potential owners do some breed research on both breeds prior to applying.

This lovely girl will need owners who are willing to provide her with all the physical and mental stimulation she needs, alongside some basic training and ongoing socialisation, so she can blossom into a well rounded adult.

Nala really is a delightful young pup who will bring new owners much joy with her fun-loving and affectionate nature.
