More about Neptune
Meet our stunning boy Neptune.
Neptune is an ex-racer Greyhound and is looking for a calm and loving home where he can live out his years.
He is a sweet and sensitive soul who true to his breed has shown some chase behaviours when out on walks so will need to be kept on-lead and muzzled when in public spaces.
Neptune can be worried of new people and handling and at times is overwhelmed with the wider world. He will need patient new owners who are willing to go at his pace and allow him the time and space he needs to settle into a home.
Neptune likes other dogs and has some lovely social skills in place. He particularly likes the company of other greyhounds which helps boost his confidence. He could live with another dog that is the right match for him. A tolerant and friendly role model who can show him the world is not such a scary place!
Neptune is looking for a home away from the inner city with access to his own private garden. He can live with teens 13+ who will respect his space and help play a role in his daily training.
Neptune is a sensitive soul with a heart of gold. He will need patient and understanding owners who can gradually introduce him to the wider world and help him find his feet!
