More about NIMBA

Nimba is a loveable dog who enjoys going on walks and meeting dogs. She has a very charming nature and loves to have fuss from her favourite people.

Nimba is a mix of breeds and is classed as a larger dog, weighing around 32kg. She is looking for people that have some experience of owning larger breeds before and are happy working on her lead pulling, as she can be strong at times.

She is a very clever dog and knows lots of commands including sit, paw, crawl and heel. She was house trained in her previous home and also travelled well in the car, settling nicely with a chew.

Nimba is social with other dogs however she can be a bit too much for them at times, getting a bit boisterous and over excited. She would be best as the only dog in her new home however she will benefit from ongoing socialisation with dogs on walks.

Nimba does have a prey drive and can chase after and bark at wildlife. Her new owners will need to do some work on recall and be mindful about where she is walked and possibly let off lead.

She is looking to live with more than one adult in her new home as we know that she doesn’t like being left alone. Her new owners will need to work on this gradually and understand it may her some time to feel comfortable on her own.
