More about Nook
Meet Nook, our sweet little Dachshund!
Nook came to Battersea as a stray so we sadly have no history for his first year of life. Since arriving he has shown to be the definition of a snuggle bug who loves his humans company and being as close to them as possible. When Nook arrived, it was clear he potentially had a cleft palate but this hasn't seemed to affect him much, he eats and drinks without issue and has since had surgery to correct this.
Nook enjoys socialising with other dogs outside the home, being friendly and playful but also able to take breaks and do his own thing but he would prefer to be the only pet in the home. He is looking for a new home in any location and would love a couple or family with experienced teenagers who can all chip in with his care. He is a lovely boy who is full of beans and enjoys short walks where he can sniff about to his hearts desire. At times Nook has been worried and uncomfortable with the clinical aspects of handling and will need new owners to continue positive association to handling while in his forever home.
Nook is now ready to take on the next chapter of his life and will be sure to be a very loving companion for the right owners.
