More about Parsnip

Meet our lovely girl Parsnip!

Parsnip is a bright and lively young Jack Russell cross. She came to us as a pregnant stray and, now that she has raised her pups and seen them all go to lovely homes, she is looking for a home of her own. Parsnip is a huge personality packed into a teeny body. Full of character and affection, she loves being close to her favourite people and truly blossoms when she has company. However, Parsnip does struggle with being alone, so her new home will need someone around most of the time. Once settled, Parsnip will benefit from gentle, gradual training to help her feel able to do short periods on her own, building her confidence minute by minute.

Parsnip enjoys nothing more than cuddling up on a lap and soaking up attention. She can be vocal when she’s excited or alert, but she responds well to calm, reassuring guidance. While in our care, Parsnip has found the sights and sounds of other dogs a little overwhelming, so she would be happiest in a quieter area where she isn’t likely to meet lots of dogs on every walk.

Parsnip enjoys enrichment activities such as food puzzles, interactive games, and pottering about in the garden. She is friendly and confident when meeting new people and quickly wins hearts with her cheeky charm.

With the right routine, companionship, and positive training, Parsnip will thrive. Given patience, understanding, and love, she promises to be a loyal, entertaining, and very special companion.
