More about Pear
Meet our Perfect Pear!
Pear arrived at Battersea with her four adolescent pups and their father. Despite a tough start to life, she coped well with separation and has grown in confidence since settling in. Pear has two great loves: her humans (especially anyone carrying food!) and tennis balls. Even at nearly 10 years old, she still has a spring in her step and would happily play fetch all day!
Pear needs support with her dog social skills and will need to remain on lead around other dogs while out and about as part of her ongoing training.
She would suit a single owner, couple, or family who enjoy a relaxed pace, plenty of cuddles, and the occasional playful fetch session. Pear has not previously lived with children, but on site she has been playful with and without toys and has shown no sensitivities to handling. Given her lovely nature and size, she would be best suited to a home with older children (8+).
Now it’s time for Pear to enjoy life in a loving home where she can soak up all the fuss she deserves. She would thrive in a household with a garden to potter in, be the only dog, and have plenty of off-lead space to play with her toys while soaking up all the affection and love!
If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Pear, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest. We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog in question.
