More about POPPET (& HEART)

Heart and Poppet are a sparky duo at Battersea Old Windsor looking for a new home together. They are both very friendly with people and love to greet you with a huge wagging tail. They each have unique characters but compliment each other very well, and are a delightful pair of dogs. If you would like to know more about them, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk

Heart is lively and likes to be involved in everything, and is always keen to seek out new adventures. Poppet is a little more laid back and will snooze on her bed after a long walk.

Both Poppet and Heart are friendly with dogs, but Heart can get very excited when seeing smaller dogs. They will need access to their own secure garden where they can run off lead, as they will both need to be kept on lead when out and about on walks.

They love food and are always happy to have a tasty treat. They will play with toys at times and Heart often likes to initiate a fun game with Poppet- she sometimes reciprocates but at times prefers to carry on snoozing.

Heart and Poppet are not used to home life and so will need understanding owners who are willing to give them the time they need to settle in, as well as starting all basic training with them. They are very endearing and are sure to make wonderful members of their new family.
