More about RAJA

Meet Raja,

Raja is a lively and wiggly puppy who was brought into our care as a stray. We do not know much about Raja's history but we have learnt a lot about her during her stay with us. As she is a stray, we are not certain about her breed mix but the team suspect she is a bull breed mix (possibly American Bulldog) and have estimated her adult weight to possibly be around 20kgs.

Raja is an intelligent dog that already knows sit, down, paw, wait and drop. She would benefit from a home that is looking to continue this training to ensure that she grows up into a well mannered adult dog.

Her new family should ensure they build on her life experiences positively and constructively and would benefit from considering taking her to puppy training classes.

Raja has met dogs during her stay with us and is still learning some manners around them. Raja has been playful, bouncy and a little unsure at times around other dogs. She may be able to live with another dog who is tolerant of her juvenile behaviour and who is a good role model.

Raja can be very excitable and needs consistency when it comes to encouraging her to keep her four paws on the floor. She can be quite mouthy, although she is easily redirected onto toys. Her favourite game is tug and she has been learning a drop cue and exchanges nicely for another toy. For this reason she would be suited to a home with teenage age children or an adult only home.
