Meet our sweet Red!

Red arrived at Battersea through no fault of her own,. She lived in a multi dog household but her previous owners were unable to meet their needs.

Red was described to us as being under-socialised and worried, but by all accounts a lovely dog. She has proven this during her stay, and although she will still need confidence building and gradual exposure to life, she has been affectionate with staff and has shown to have some really nice social skills around dogs!

Red is still young and is at an age where she is a sponge to everything around her. This means that owners will need to focus on rebuilding her positive experiences in life as she spent her puppyhood in a heavily sheltered environment. She will need owners who can offer her the time, confidence building and training she needs to best be set up for success in adult life.

In addition to the above, Red is a Malinois which is a working breed known for its high energy and need for both mental and physical stimulation & outlets for their energy. For this reason, and due to her worried and under-socialised nature, Red is looking for a owners who have experience with high energy working breeds, and can provide her with the appropriate outlets for her energy, in addition to having had experience with nervous/under-socialised dogs so that they can best meet her needs and set her up for success.

Red is not only a stunning girl, she is also a very loving and loyal pup, who will make a wonderful companion to her future family!

Red will need a home in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle with a secure garden for training.
