More about Riley

Riley is a bubbly and enthusiastic young Lurcher with plenty of personality. He is based at Battersea Old Windsor.
Riley loves nothing more than making new friends and enjoying the attention that comes with it. He loves affection and fuss but can sometimes forget his manners and can jump up and nip. He is currently working on keeping 4 paws on the floor to encourage him to say hello in calm manner. He will need owners who are prepared to continue this training to keep any unwanted overstimulated behaviour under control.
He is looking for owners who can take a patient approach to his care to allow him to settle in, get familiar with a new routine and carry out his basic training such as recall and housetraining, alongside his behaviour training.
Riley has been social and friendly with other dogs, he is still working on calmer interactions but would benefit from living with a calm dog who can offer play and can act as a good role model. Riley loves to play with toys and he is often seen in his kennel keeping himself entertained by playing with soft toys. He loves to throw them in the air and try to catch them. During the warmer weather, Riley loves to play in a paddling pool. He will take a running leap and jump straight in and loves to splash around.
Riley is a fun-loving boy who will bring plenty of love and smiles to a new home. He would benefit from going to an active home that will enjoy taking him on longer walks.
