More about Robin

Meet our lovely boy Robin.

Robin arrived at Battersea after retiring from his racing career. He is a bouncy and excitable lad who just loves human company and has no issues making friends. He has struggled a little when out and about on his walks, being a little stressed in a busy environment, although he does do better on walks in the company of a Greyhound friend! He is looking for new owners who will give him the time he needs to settle into a home environment and set him up for the best success. As Robin is an ex-racer he will need to be kept on lead and muzzled when out in public spaces.

Robin likes other dogs and has shown friendly behaviours, although he can be reactive at times when he is unsure what to do due to not much socialisation with other breeds during his racing days. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home at this time, but would love some doggy mates to go on regular walks with although could live with another greyhound friend that can give him the space he needs.

Robin is looking for a home away from the inner city with access to his own private garden to help build his confidence. He could live with older children who can play a role in his daily training. Robin is a lively and loveable boy who is ready for a home to call his own. He will make the best cuddle buddy in any household lucky enough to have him.
