More about Rocco

Meet our gentle giant Rocco who came to us through no fault of his own!

Rocco has a lovely history of being friends with everyone he meets, even though he did take a little time warming up to us when he first arrived. New owners need to be aware of Rocco's sensitive side and not overwhelm him to begin with. With time and patience, he will be the most affectionate and loving boy. In his previous home, he also did struggle a little when being left alone, as he just loves being in the company of his favourite people!

This 40kg lad does not realise his size when it comes to other dogs and can be over enthusiastic which some dogs do not always appreciate. Rocco would be best to being the only dog in the home due to him being a big bouncy boy who has been working well on his training with staff and socialisation which will need to be worked on prior to possibly living with any dogs. New owners will need to be confident with socialisation to ensure Rocco learns good manners and respect all dogs of all different sizes.

Rocco is looking for a home with owners who preferably have some experience with large boisterous breeds, as well as potential separation anxiety, and would need a secure private garden for his ongoing training without distractions and safe place for zoomies! He is sure to be the most loving and loyal boy in any home lucky enough to have him!
