Meet Rusty, our sweet little Poodle!

Rusty arrived at Battersea via another rescue so we have no history on him or how he is in a home.

He is a sensitive soul who is slowly learning that the world is not such a scary place but he is stressed when outside and struggles to walk on lead, showing behaviours similar to a puppy farm dog who has had limited exposure to the wider world. New owners will need to be prepared for a long settling in period with owners taking everything at his pace.

Rusty is a gentle soul and has shown that he loves a good fuss when he feels comfortable. He is looking for patient and understanding owners who will celebrate the small wins with him.

With consistency, patience and love, Rusty will continue to grow into a confident companion.

He is looking for a new home away from the inner city and will need his own private garden. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but could possibly live with a calm and confident cat.
