Meet our lovely Sadie!

Sadie is a charming Greyhound who arrived at Battersea through another rescue. During her time there, she shared her kennel with a fellow greyhound, and the two formed a wonderful friendship without any reported issues.

Since joining us, Sadie has adapted beautifully, settling into her kennel with ease and displaying a warm, friendly demeanour towards everyone she meets. Her sociable nature extends to other dogs as well, where she often shows playful behaviour during their outings together.

As an ex-racing greyhound, Sadie has a natural instinct to chase small animals and is quite intrigued by anything that moves quickly. Therefore, it's important for her new owners to be cautious when introducing her to smaller, fluffier breeds. For this reason, she will always need to wear a muzzle in public spaces.

Sadie is currently in a foster home where she is having a great time adapting well to a home environment, she enjoys the company but does not seek out attention all the time, she is happy to potter around in the garden and home, she is house trained and has shown to have a cheeky side to her as well, she does walk well on lead and has grown in confidence.

We are looking for a home where her new family has some experience or knowledge of the breed, ensuring she can comfortably transition into her new surroundings.
