More about Sapphire

Meet our sweet Sapphire!

Sapphire arrived at Battersea due to her owner no longer being able to care for multiple dogs. Sapphire lived with a 4 other Frenchies and had a nice history around them and people. She is a typical Frenchie, who loves her people and adores affection and quality time spent with her humans.

During her stay she has proven to be a little unsure about other dogs, can become overwhelmed when they are too much for her and tends to remain independent around them, so would benefit from being the only dog in the home.

Sapphire is a lovely lady who just wants to cuddle her people. She often seeks reassurance from humans and loves to be curled up on their laps. She has shown some sensitivities around having her nails trimmed but otherwise has no issues with handling and adores fusses.

Sapphire will make a wonderful addition to any family but would benefit from owners who understand her preference for independence and would advocate for her whilst working on her confidence building and positive association around dogs moving forward.
