More about Scooby
Say hello to little Scooby! This little chap arrived from the wardens with very limited history. He is a social butterfly who wants nothing more than to spend time with his humans!
Scooby has a unique trait of carrying his lead when he is feeling anxious. He can find some situations quite overwhelming, and carrying his lead is his go-to comfort. With the help and support of his family in a home environment, we hope he will become more comfortable in his surroundings and no longer need this comfort all the time. He has done well at Battersea Park and now only carries his lead when he is unsure.
Typical of the breed, Scooby loves enrichment, especially when it is creative and fun. He enjoys shoving his head into boxes, sniffing through snuffle mats and bopping around with Kongs. He loves to explore and investigate his surroundings.
Scooby is a very respectful boy who reads other dogs well. He has a good set of basic social skills and could live with a calm dog who can help support him in the big wide world.
Scooby is looking for a quiet home in a peaceful location with a private garden and a loving family who will adore him. He could potentially live with another confident role model dog or even a calm cat. Sensible older children could also be considered if they are able to help with his ongoing training.
