Meet our sweet but sensitive little Shadow!

Shadow is a gentle, affectionate girl with a nervous disposition. Initially very shut down in kennels, she’s slowly started to seek affection from familiar carers and is showing more of her loving personality each day.

She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home (older teens considered) with patient, understanding owners. Shadow is nervous around unknown people, dogs, and loud sounds, so she’ll need to live in a quiet area away from busy streets or crowded parks.

Shadow must be the only pet as she prefers her own space and doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs or cats really. A private, secure garden is essential to help her build confidence in a safe environment before exploring the outside world.

She’ll need a housetraining refresher and ongoing support to build her confidence with walks and new experiences. But with time, space, and gentle encouragement, Shadow will be a devoted and rewarding companion.
