More about Smarties

Meet our Sweet little Chi Smarties!!

Smarties came to Battersea after being picked up as a stray so we sadly have no information on her first 2 years of life. When she arrived she was a worried girl, but after spending time with us she settled in and has shown to be a friendly, fun loving girl.

Smarties came in with a leg injury which needed surgery, she has been recovering well in a foster home and has become a happy young dog enjoying life and comforts of a home environment, she greet people in a friendly manor and seem sweet on men!
She can still have a worried nature at times, she also was worried when meeting dogs and would tend to avoid them especially the larger dogs, but she had a few doggy friends in her foster home which are smaller and calm dogs.

She is looking for owners with some experience who will enjoy this breed and give her time to settle, she could possibly live with a cat as she has met some on her walks and is not worried by them and has met one in a foster home and they were fine in each others company.

Smarties does not like being left alone and will bark and cry, so new owners will need to build up her being left once she has settled in to a new home.
