More about Snoop
Snoop is a bright and energetic young German Shepherd cross who is looking for an active home ready to embrace all the fun and adventure that comes with a intelligent adolescent dog.
At just one year old, Snoop is full of enthusiasm for life and loves nothing more than getting out and exploring the world around him. He is a playful boy with a particular passion for chasing toys, playing fetch, and taking part in training sessions, which help channel his energy and keep his busy mind occupied.
Snoop is a smart dog who already knows a range of cues, including sit, paw, bed, touch and drop. He is highly motivated by both treats and toys and is always keen to learn. His new owners will enjoy continuing his training and helping him develop into a well-rounded adult dog.
When meeting new people, Snoop can be very excitable and is eager to make friends. He may greet visitors with enthusiastic jumps, but he responds well to guidance and is learning that keeping all four paws on the floor is much more rewarding.
Snoop enjoys the company of other dogs and generally shows friendly body language when meeting them. However, his enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of him. He would benefit from calm dog interactions while he continues to develop his social skills and learn appropriate manners around other dogs. For this reason, Snoop is looking to be the only dog in his new home, allowing him time to settle and build positive social experiences out on walks.
As a young dog, Snoop will need owners who understand the challenges that can come with a large high energy breed.
A home with a secure private garden is essential for Snoop. This will give him a safe space to enjoy off-lead exercise, continue his recall training, and burn off some of his energy. He was housetrained in his previous home and would let his owners know when he needed to go outside.
Snoop is searching for an active and committed home that can provide both mental and physical enrichment. In return, they will gain a fun-loving, intelligent, and rewarding companion who is eager to learn, build strong bonds, and share in life's adventures.
