More about Spirali

Meet this handsome boy Spirali!

We do not have a previous history for Spirali so do not know whether he has been in a home environment or not.. Spirali has shown to struggle with kennel life and can be vocal when he seeks out human attention. He will therefore need a family who can help him settle and adjust to home life with ease and help him gain some independence and confidence.

Spirali has shown to be super eager to please with training and responds really well to all basic training which will help him gain the life skills he needs to mature into a well rounded gentleman.
He can be playful with other dogs but also has a worried, sensitive side to him. He has, however, shown to respond well to a role model dog which has helped him learn some nice social skills and he is taking it all on board. He would be able to live with another dog who can be that role model figure and who is also tolerant of a large goofball!

New owners will need to help him learn some manners as he does not always have 4 paws on the floor when meeting people. He is a social butterfly and loves to interact however he needs to do so in a more polite manner. He has shown a great response the basics which is helping him to learn how to be calm with people and this will need to be continued in the new home.

Spirali loves to sniff! He enjoys having a good sniff around natural outdoor spaces such as woodlands and we would encourage new owners to continue to provide these types of activities that will allow him to use his nose as enrichment , These activities encourage him to be calm and more relaxed on lead. Loud noises can unsettle him and cause him stress so we would initially advise short walks in quiet places to help build his confidence with the outside world, particularly in his settling in period.

Spirali will need a private garden to help with house-training, offlead training and exercise.

Due to his coat type he will also require ongoing grooming visits and some time at home with a brush to ensure he can maintain a wonderful knot free coat!

This lovely youngster could potentially live with older children that can be part of his training.
