More about Stormy

Meet our sweet girl Stormy.

Stormy arrived at Battersea a gift as her previous owner could no longer care for her. She has a nice history in her previous home although has shown to be quite a sensitive soul.
Stormy was very worried and nervous when arriving in our care, often taking herself to the back of her kennel and shying away. However with a little time she has started to come out of her shell and is now showing off her lovely and affectionate nature. She can be worried of new people and of handling so is looking for new owners who are understanding and patient and who will give her all the time she needs to settle into a home at her own pace.

It has been noted that Stormy is a little cross eyed, which can affect her vision especially when things are further away, which may explain some of her nervous nature.
Stormy likes other dogs and has some nice social skills in place being a friendly and playful girl with the right matches. However we feel that at this time she would prefer to be the only dog in the home to get all the love and attention to herself.

Stormy is looking for a home away form the inner city and would love to have access to her own private garden. She could live with older children/teenagers who are respectful of her space. This beautiful girl has so much love to give and has won staff over with her bouncy and affectionate nature. She would be the most wonderful of companions in any household lucky enough to have her.
