More about Suki

Suki is a gentle and independent Akita with a calm, easy-going nature. She enjoys affection from her people but is just as happy pottering around and taking life at her own pace.

She would suit a home that appreciates her relaxed, undemanding personality and gives her the space to truly settle and feel secure.

Suki can feel uncomfortable around other dogs, especially bouncy dogs, but benefits from clear guidance and gentle management on walks. She will need to be kept on lead and wear a muzzle in public spaces due the intolerant behaviours we have seen from her while in our care.

She would do best in quieter areas with plenty of space, where she is less likely to feel overwhelmed.

Suki is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, with patient and understanding owners who will continue to support her and build her confidence. She would do best in quieter areas with plenty of space, where she is less likely to feel overwhelmed.

With the right home, Suki will be a loyal and affectionate companion who will truly blossom and form a strong, rewarding bond with her new family.
