More about Summer

Meet our sensitive soul, Summer!

Summer has a great history, where she lived with 5 other dogs and got along with them all. Her previous owner described her as an anxious girl but a very sweet one who was like her shadow.

Since Summer has been under our care, we have seen her sweet but very sensitive side. She would often show worried behaviours in kennel, but has built up a lot of confidence to her more bonded handlers and her lovely character is starting to shine through!

Given her history there is scope for little summer to live with another furry friend, whether it is a dog or a cat, as long as it is the right set up for this little lady.

This sensitive lady will need a home away from the inner city with access to her own private garden to help build her confidence up slowly. She could live with older children that can give her space when needed. Despite her worried and nervous nature, she is a loving girl who if given time, shows off her affectionate and gentle character. She would thrive in a home with patient and caring owners, who will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and let her true colours shine.
