More about Teddy
Meet our tireless Teddy!
Teddy is a bright and very bouncy young pup. He is super cute, but has also shown himself to be a very high-energy youngster and can become overexcited, which can lead to him becoming jumpy & mouthy. He is, however, a quick learner who loves his training sessions. With the right guidance from new owners, he can learn to channel his high energy levels appropriately and continue building his manners and skills.
Teddy came from a previous household with many children of different ages and came into our care as his previous owners were finding his exuberance a bit too much for them. New owners will need to commit to doing ongoing training with him and managing his overstimulated behaviours, to ensure he grows into a well-mannered and balanced adult. If you have the time, confidence and commitment to help him achieve this, then please get in touch.
Teddy would thrive in a fun, active, mainly adult home, or possibly a home with confident older children who would enjoy being part of his training journey and help him grow into the well-rounded, happy dog we know he can be. Teddy has not been socialised much in his previous home and would benefit from being introduced slowly to other dogs, as well as the wider world in general. He will need his own garden to bounce around in, and to facilitate his toilet training, and would ideally prefer to live outside the busy inner city.
If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Teddy, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest. We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
