More about Tennessee

Tennessee is a confident, friendly young Lurcher with a lovely nature and an adaptable personality. He is a sociable dog who enjoys spending time with people and has shown himself to be confident and polite in a variety of situations.

Tennessee has been friendly and good-natured with all the new people he has met. He enjoys greeting people he sees out and about here at Battersea, Old Windsor, and would benefit greatly from a home happy to continue expanding his social circle. Like many young dogs, he can occasionally jump up when excited, so new owners should be willing to help reinforce his training to keep all four paws on the floor.

Tennessee is an active dog who thoroughly enjoys his walks. He is happy accompanying people on a gentle stroll, a longer adventure, or enjoying a run around in our paddocks.

He really enjoys the company of other dogs and has mixed with a wide variety of dogs during his time at Old Windsor. Tennessee has consistently shown himself to be amiable and even-tempered, interacting well with other dogs. He reads other dogs nicely and is respectful if they would prefer space rather than a greeting. He is also able to pass other dogs calmly without issue.

Tennessee would be equally happy as the only dog in the home or living alongside another existing friendly canine companion.

Tennessee is a wonderful young dog with so much to offer. With continued guidance, fun and plenty of affection from his new owners he is sure to make a cheerful and loving companion for his future family.
