More about THUNDER

Thunder is an exuberant and spritely young Lurcher, who loves nothing more than a good run around to stretch his legs and playing with his toys. He can be often found playing with tennis balls & squeaky soft toys which are his favourite. He is currently at our Old Windsor Centre, if after reading his information you would like to know more about her, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Thunder came to Battersea Old Windsor as a stray, he does find the kennel environment stressful and struggles to settle down. He would be looking for owners who would be confident in continuing his ongoing training which will help him settle into his new surroundings and adjust to home life.

Thunder would be looking to be the only dog in the household at this stage in his life. He can find dogs who are overly playful with their interactions worrying so will need to be the only dog in the home while he is building his confidence. He has shown good social skills around dogs who are calmer in temperament and has successfully been able to make doggy friends.

Thunder can be a real softy and will show his sweet & affectionate side. He really enjoys a good fuss and will even lean into you looking for more. He has been friendly with everyone he has met so far at Battersea Old Windsor; he may sometimes forget his manners and jump up when he is excited, but he can be encouraged to keep 4 paws on the floor when meeting people.

He has plenty of personality and is full of life. Thunder would make a fun and loving addition to a household.
