Meet our adorable Tide!

Tide is a gentle, older Shih-tzu lady, who came to Battersea due to a change in her previous owner's circumstances. Sensitive but affectionate, she's now looking for a quiet, adult only home where she can relax and enjoy her retirement in peace.

Tide can be wary of handling, especially in formal settings like vet visits, where she has shown signs of discomfort. She'll need patient, experienced owners who can read her body language and use gentle, positive training to help build her confidence over time.

A private, secure garden would be beneficial for Tide, both for her ongoing house training and to support her confidence building in a calm and familiar space. She'd also benefit from a home with quieter walking routes to help her build in confidence out on walks during her settling in period.

Tide should be the only dog in the home. While she has been sociable with smaller dogs, she is quite worried of bigger dogs and isn't keen to interact with them, she much prefers meeting dogs on walks rather than living with them.

Tide is a sweet soul who deserves a peaceful, loving home where she can feel safe, supported, and truly cherished. Is the Tide coming in for you?
