More about Tova

Meet Tova!!

Tova is a female Cocker Spaniel who arrived at Battersea as a stray. We have don't know anything about her prior to her arrival at Battersea but we believe her to be around 4 years old.

Since she arrived, Tova has shown to have a lovely character and is friendly and excited to meet everyone she sees. Tova is a typical busy and energetic Spaniel who loves to keep her nose to the ground on walks so is looking for active owners who enjoy continuing her training. She can be very vocal on walks towards dogs, loud noises and wildlife, she will need ongoing training to ensure this is kept on top of. She is very responsive to training and is coming along very nicely in this area!

Tova has shown to be a friendly and playful girl with other dogs and has some great social skills already in place and could potentially live with another dog that matches her energy and character. She finds larger dogs that loom over her a bit too much and has told them off.

Tova is looking for a new home, with her own garden, in a quieter location with new owners that have some experience of caring for a busy and energetic working breed and would like to continue her training going forward. Tova doesn't mind if her new owners are single, a couple or a family with older children who are ready to reciprocate the excitement and affection she is sure to give to them. She has high mental stimulation needs and will thrive with regular extra curricular activities such as agility, scent work and more!

Tova could potentially live with another dog but will not be able to live with a cat.
