Trixie is a fun, lively and robust Terrier based at our Old Windsor centre. She loves to play and be with her favourite people, but does require some ongoing training. If after reading her information you would like to know more about her, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk

Trixie is looking for an active home. She is a very sociable dog she has been friendly with everyone she has met here at Battersea Old Windsor. She is looking for a home that will give her the physical and mental stimulation that she needs being an active young Terrier.

She has shown some destructive and attention seeking behaviour in a home, therefore any new owners must be happy to work through this as it may take some time for her to settle into her new home. We have started some training around this area that will need to be continued in her new home.

She is looking to be the only dog in the home, she will need ongoing training when meeting new dogs. When seeing dogs, she would like to greet them straight away and can become frustrated when not able to. She has shown great progress with training around slowing her interactions and meeting calmly but this will need to be continued in a new home.

Tennis balls are the love of her life, she will play by herself or with her favourite people. Tennis balls are a great way to build bonds and have play time. Trixie is looking for a home with a private garden where she can have time off lead and play with her beloved tennis balls.

New owners would need to speak to a Battersea Vet before rehoming Trixie.
