Meet our lovely Tucker!!

Tucker is an American Bulldog x Shar-Pei who arrived at Battersea as a stray. Sadly this means we have very little information on his first 3 years of life. The wardens described Tucker as being very loving and affectionate, knowing lots of tricks and he would jump on their sofa and wait for his harness to be put on.

Since arriving at Battersea, Tucker has shown the same loving and affectionate character but with the added bonus of being the calmest bully on the block, who wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his favourite people and his favourite toy.

Tucker has been stressed in his kennel but does settle nicely and can be a little strong on lead at times but has excellent handler focus and walks nicely on lead so is looking for new owners that have some experience and are confident in their handling skills.

Tucker has shown to be very underconfident and undersocialised when interacting with other dogs, he has shown a mixture of behaviours around them and generally can get quite stuck when face to face with them. Due to this - he will need to go home with additional rehoming criteria of wearing a muzzle and being kept on lead when in public spaces.

Tucker is looking for a new family to share his love with and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He'd prefer somewhere quiet with a lower population of dogs and would love his own garden.
