Meet Twister - our handsome greyhound

Twister is such a sweet, affectionate boy, who loves to show off his playful side and make everyone laugh! He is a big boy, and true to his breed, he has quick bursts of energy and can zoom around, but is just as happy relaxing with his favourite people after a long walk and some tasty treats. Whilst Twister has shown some lovely social skills with other dogs, he can be worried and is quick to tell off dogs that are being too much for him. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with a calm steady dog that will give him the space he needs.

Due to chase behaviours seen during his stay here, as well as his racing background, he’ll need to stay on lead and muzzled when out on walks. Unless he has just seen something to chase, he walks beautifully on lead, right by his handler's side! As he will need to be kept on lead in public spaces, he is looking for a new home that has a private secure garden for him to have some off lead space to potter around in, or new owners who may be willing to hire a private field so that he can stretch his legs.

Twister is a big goofy charmer, who is sure to bring lots of love and fun to any home lucky enough to have him!
