Say hello to little Watson!

Watson is a sweet natured poodle cross.

This older gentleman who came into our care when his previous owner could no longer give him the time and attention he needed. A sensitive soul, Watson really thrives on companionship and finds being left alone quite distressing. Because of this, he's looking for an adopter with experience in supporting dogs with separation anxiety.

It took Watson a little longer than most to settle into the kennel environment, but once he feels safe, he truly blossoms. He can be very affectionate and has formed great bonds with the people he's met here so far. Watson is a loving boy who just wants to be near his humans and included in everyday life.

Though he can be sociable with other dogs, Watson can lack confidence around unfamiliar or overly boisterous dogs. He’d be best suited either as the only dog in the home or with a calm, friendly dog who gives him space and time to build trust.

At his age, Watson isn’t looking for long hikes or high energy outings. He would be perfectly content with a relaxed daily walk to the park for half an hour to an hour. Watson would also thrive in a calm, patient home with someone around most of the day.
