Meet Zeus, our 7-year-old Staffy gentleman!

Zeus is a big softie who loves attention, cuddles, and a good fuss. He’s friendly and excitable with people, but kennel life can be a bit overwhelming for him, so he’d do best in a calm, quiet home away from the hustle and bustle.

He can get a little nervous with handling, but with lots of stress reduction and gentle guidance, he’s made really lovely progress. His new family will need to continue building positive associations and helping him feel calm and confident with handling, using plenty of patience and love.

Zeus can be wary of other dogs because of a past experience, so slow introductions and a calm canine friend would be best. Once he feels safe, he enjoys hanging out and spending time with gentle dog pals.

Zeus can also feel unsettled when left alone and has shown some destructive behaviours in the home. His new family will need to be committed and patient, helping him settle, feel secure, and gradually build confidence when alone.

Zeus is a loyal, affectionate lad who just wants love, adventures, and a comfy sofa to snuggle on with his people!
