A dog who was found straying by the River Thames with a broken leg has been helped to walk again thanks to the care of leading animal welfare charity, Battersea.    

Battersea and The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) have unveiled their five top tips to turn your garden into the ultimate dog-friendly oasis as preparations get underway for the RHS and Radio 2 Dog Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this May.

This Mother’s Day, Battersea is celebrating two very special mums—Hovis and Grasshopper—who arrived at the charity’s centres just in time to give birth to their adorable litters.
