Battersea dogs become super sidekicks: Meet the animals ready for their next adventure!
This weekend, as London gears up for Megacon Live, one of the biggest celebrations of comic book and anime culture, Battersea is sharing details of three rescue dogs currently in their care, each with their own unique ‘superhero’ traits and looking for owners to go on adventures with. While thousands of fans embrace their own favourite characters, these dogs are ready to take inspiration from the heroes and heroines of Megacon and find the perfect human partner to help them soar to new heights.

Zippy

Zippy came to us from Battersea as a tiny kitten in 2008 and spent 16 lovely years with our family. He was feisty and funny and we will miss his furry purry ways so much. Rest in peace beautiful boy.
Rocky

Merry Christmas to my fur baby Rocky, the brightest star in the sky this Christmas 🎄⭐️ Miss you and love you always ❤️
Robbie

In March 2014 we came and we met Robbie. He was a perfect fit for our family and we took him home to Hampshire. We always wondered how he ended up on his own on the London streets but we gave him the best life. He spent his years on the beach biting the waves, running through the woods and digging in streams. In his later years he slowed down a bit but always loved joining in with our friends and family. This week was his time and we miss him dreadfully. The house is too quiet. We are all very sad but we know we gave him the best life.
