Battersea urges public to look beyond appearance and consider its monochrome moggies this national black cat day

To celebrate National Black Cat Day (27 October), the much-loved charity is encouraging the public to look beyond a cat’s appearance and consider its beloved black cats waiting for a second chance.
Jack

Some of my fondest memories are when we first adopted him after him after he had a leg amputation. He hid away for a while but I'll always remember the first time he climbed onto the sofa and snuggled into me. From then we just snuggled all the time, he was my little shadow. I loved seeing him sunbathe by the windows and play with his toys whilst having the zoomies. He was a small baby but he's left a huge hole in my heart and my life. Love and miss you always Jack.
