A sweet Cocker Spaniel called Pumpkin has been given a new zest for life thanks to the help of leading animal welfare charity, Battersea, and the generous support of players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Hundreds of pet lovers have raised over £55,000 by taking part in Battersea’s Muddy Dog Challenge - one of the UK’s biggest obstacle courses where members of the public can take part with their dog. 

With thousands of dogs being cared for each year by Battersea, the charity sees canines of all shapes and sizes coming through its gates. To mark National Adopt a Greyhound Month this April, leading animal welfare charity, Battersea, is shining a light on a sweet and gentle Greyhound who has spent over 100 days in the charity’s care.
