My Developing Dog for Cocker Spaniels
Puppies are wonderful additions to the family, but they can be a handful. That’s why Battersea has created My Developing Dog - a WhatsApp journey designed to support new and soon-to-be Cocker Spaniel puppy owners through the early stages, with guidance tailored specifically to the breed.
Created by the expert animal behaviourists and clinicians at Battersea, the service will walk you through your Cocker Spaniel’s development and help you prepare for each new milestone up to adolescence, whether it’s introducing your puppy to another pet, or putting their harness on for the very first time.

Who is this for?
My Developing Dog for Cocker Spaniels (or Cocker Spaniel crosses) is perfect for you if:
- You have a Cocker Spaniel (or Cocker Spaniel cross) puppy that will be collected in the next few weeks – OR – you already have a Cocker Spaniel (or Cocker Spaniel cross) puppy at home that is between eight and 15 weeks old.
- You have WhatsApp.
