This is Bungle's story

From the moment he was brought in as a stray to Battersea Old Windsor, Bungle the Chow Chow proved to be a real loveable gentleman, even though it was clear on arrival that he had terrible issues with both eyes, and he was in a considerable amount of discomfort.

Battersea’s expert vets diagnosed Bungle with severe bilateral entropion, affecting both the upper and lower eyelids, which needed urgent surgical intervention.

Entropion is a condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes and surrounding hair to rub against the sensitive cornea. It can affect one or both eyes, leading to irritation, which, if left untreated, can lead to corneal ulceration or even loss of vision.

Despite his treatment and a period of convalescence on foster, Bungle remained upbeat, and his friendly, loving character shone through. Once his medical issues were resolved, Bungle soon found a wonderful new family who love him dearly and happily indulge him in his favourite pastime of relaxing on the sofa or in the garden, after he has enjoyed a long walk.
