Are you ready to get muddy?
We’re welcoming all dog lovers and their canine chums to take part in the Muddy Dog Challenge and raise money to help care for the dogs and cats here at Battersea
Muddy Dog Challenge 2018
Join us for the UK's first 2.5km and 5km obstacle runs that you can take on with your dog. You can enter as a dog-and-human duo or go solo if your pampered pooch wants to sit out.
Prepare yourself for a day of mud, sweat, and cheers on our dog-friendly obstacle course. By taking part, you’ll be helping us provide love and care for the thousands of lost, abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats that come into our care.
In 2018, Muddy Dog Challenges will take place in Windsor, Nottingham, Manchester, Peterborough, Cardiff and Tunbridge Wells.

Friends and family are welcome to come along on the day, and you and your four-legged friend will have a chance to refuel with plenty of food and drink on offer in the event village.
Human competitors must be aged 18 or over on event day and dog competitors must be one year or over. First aid and veterinary cover will be available on the day. For full terms and conditions, please see the Muddy Dog Challenge rules.
Do I need to be fit to take part?
You don’t need to be able to run a marathon to take part, but you’ll need to be relatively fit (particularly if you are taking on the 5km route).
Speed through each challenge or trot along the length of the course. There’s no timing clock here, just supportive hands and paws at every obstacle.
See our Muddy Dog Challenge training tips for advice and training plans.
