Santa was a shining light from the day he came to us on January 2nd, 2011. At home, on the farm or when we visited sites around the country he always made people smile and always new where the kitchen was.. his proudest moments were taking up agility and doing it his way, either jumping the first fence and then walking out of the finish gate or completing the course in lightning time. In his collection of rosettes he even managed to receive awards for making the judges laugh. At the age of 10 he managed the accolade of being the highest canine in England for 1 hour when he decided that a 7 mile hike up to the summit of Scafell Pike would be a good day out for him. A feat not to be repeated but will remain in his owner’s memory for ever. He went to sleep at home in the arms of loved ones and receives a biscuit everyday on his grave. Sleep well our friend and we will meet again someday and spend time together again. X
