Sweet but shy Gareth arrived as a stray, where we knew little about his life before Battersea.

With the help of Battersea’s dedicated team, a tailored care plan was developed to help reduce Gareth’s stress in the kennels and build his confidence; something only possible thanks to supporters like you.
He was taught new cues such as 'sit' and enjoyed engagement activities such as licki mats and destruction boxes.
Step by step, Gareth began to come out of his shell. He made friends with Battersea staff, enjoyed gentle fuss and going out for walks.
It wasn’t long before Gareth found a loving home, where he's now thriving with his new family.
