Domestic Shorthair Monty was sadly found left outside our London centre. With little known about his past, he spent his first few days at Battersea hiding in his cabin and only came out at night to eat.
Our cattery team worked patiently to build his confidence, sitting by his pen each day to gently comfort him. Slowly, Monty progressed from nervously peeking out to cautiously interacting. Within weeks, he was head-bumping his carer for strokes and curling up on their lap for a snooze.
Your kind support helped Monty transform from a worried soul into an affectionate lap cat, where he has now found a loving new home.
