Two‑year‑old Mr Krabs arrived at Battersea when his previous owner was sadly no longer able to care for him. The sudden change left him overwhelmed, nervous and unsure of his new surroundings. Thanks to supporters like you, he didn’t have to face it alone.
Mr Krabs had a history of stomach and skin issues that were made worse by stress, so our cattery team created a tailored behavioural plan to help him settle and stay healthy. He began a special diet to soothe his stomach and was given a dedicated staff member to support him each day.
As he started to feel safe, Mr Krabs’ wonderful personality began to shine. Because he thrived on interaction, our Feline Welfare team placed him in an experienced foster home, where he had more space to explore and grow in confidence. It was here where he started to thrive – by following his carer around, snoozing on the bed, birdwatching from the window, and playfully pouncing on his toys.
After eight months of care made possible by your kindness, Mr Krabs found a loving home perfectly suited to his sensitive soul. His new family adore him and all his quirky ways.
